A mobile application (APP) for epilepsy patients Epilepsy App, a first time feat in the country, was launched on 10th April 2016, Nellore, India, by Dr Bindu Menon Foundation (Fig. 1). It can be downloaded on an Android phone from the Play Store by typing “Epilepsy Help” (Fig. 2). There are no patents applied for the app. This is a free download in three languages (English, Hindi and Telugu). This App with information about epilepsy is a comprehensive application with 15 subcategories. Patients can enter their personal data and have a seizure diary to note events, Let an alarm for medicines and there is also an appointment tracker. Patients can upload their blood, neuroimaging and seizure videos as well. When a patient experiences auras, he/she can alert a friend or relative with an 'ALERT' option that dials the saved emergency contact. This App can make the epilepsy patient confident and help in managing his/her own disease with the respective treating physician.
